Former Lawmaker Tests Positive For COVID-19 In Benue

The Benue State Government on Monday disclosed that the third COVID-19 case in the state was a former member of the House of Representatives.

According to Governor Samuel Ortom, the victim, Mrs Rebecca Apedzan, also served as commissioner in the state. 

Ortom said she attended a function at the Government House on Sunday.

The governor advised all those that came in contact with the victim in the past few days to go for medical attention.
